THESELAH "no sleep more fun" CD (k.o.a. records)
First off I give props to anyone who takes the time to learn and experiment with recordings on the 4 track recorder. It's a much more personal way of recording and you can always hear that on any recording. This band actually make the recording sound so good you can't really tell it's a 4 track recording. 10 songs here of chill distant pop songs that just keep you relaxed but moving. It's kind of spacey, but I wouldn't classify this as space pop. It seems a little more. Maybe something like My Bloody Valentine, but this seems more gental and peaceful, but when you least expect it it goes into songs that are loud and crazy rockin' noise (maybe to break any boredom that might occur with the easy listening type songs?). Interesting and fun.
